Accountabilities

  • Owes the strategic direction, growth plans, and market execution for a respiratory-focused product portfolio.
  • Requires strong commercial leadership, deep customer understanding, and the ability to align global teams around impactful product strategies.
  • Defines and executes the long-term product vision, portfolio strategy, and growth roadmap for respiratory solutions.
  • Leads business reviews focused on revenue performance, margin optimization, product quality, and technical performance.
  • Develops and implements global product management strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Drives successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies, value propositions, positioning, and pricing approaches.
  • Collaborates with product management, marketing, sales, R&D, operations, medical affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product lifecycle execution.
  • Identifies market opportunities by analyzing customer insights, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regional growth opportunities.
  • Develops disease-area franchise strategies and leads global initiatives to strengthen market differentiation.
  • Establishes evidence-based competitive strategies to position products effectively against market alternatives.
  • Supports portfolio expansion by identifying opportunities for innovation, adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Led strategic alignment across international teams and influences decision-making at senior leadership levels.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is an experienced product management leader with a strong background in life sciences, diagnostics, and global commercialization.
  • The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration skills, and the ability to manage complex initiatives across international teams.
  • Has 12+ years of relevant professional experience, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experiences leading global product launches and commercialization strategies.
  • Manages cross-functional teams and collaborates with global stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, market development, and customer-driven innovation.
  • Able to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in the molecular diagnostics industry or respiratory testing market is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate competitive landscapes and identify growth opportunities.
  • Able to travel frequently, including up to 30% domestic and international travel.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
