In Fremont, CA, our Optoelectronics team is hiring a Product Line Manager to lead high-volume optical transceivers, meeting the demands of large, global clients in the datacom and telecom industries. This fast-paced role requires discipline, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to support global customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product line strategies and product roadmaps aligned with market trends and customer needs in cloud services and optical networking.
- Manage the product lifecycle, mitigating risks and ensuring consistent execution with a value-driven approach.
- Oversee product forecasts and streamline manufacturing processes, proactively addressing component obsolescence, supply chain shortages, quality improvements, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales, Application, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve customer issues, drive service levels, and secure design wins.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure alignment on strategy and shared goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the datacom or telecom industry.
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing financial metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience managing an optical product line (preferred).
- Experience in optical product development (preferred).
- MBA (preferred).
Pay
For this role, we anticipate a salary range of $125,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
