About the role

Dykema’s Los Angeles office is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join our esteemed Product Liability & Class Action Litigation practice group.

Responsibilities

• Motion practice
• Discovery
• Brief writing
• Preparing company witnesses for depositions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Attending court appearances
• Client interaction
• Trial preparation and trial
• All aspects of case handling, including fact investigation and discovery work

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in complex litigation, with a focus on product liability and class action cases
• Defense catastrophic injury experience highly preferred
• Significant experience with all aspects of case handling, including fact investigation and discovery work
• Excellent written communication and oral advocacy skills
• Attention to detail and ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines
• Admission to practice in California

Pay

Salary range: $200,000 - $235,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience level.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with in office expectations weekly.
