Product Installation Engineer - SPTS - 90% Travel. Ft Collins Colorado based

About the Role
US Citizenship is required for this position. You will independently own the installation of new tools at customer sites, troubleshoot and repair complex system-level problems, and take full ownership of administrative tasks such as field service reports and quality feedback. This role involves 80-90% travel, both domestic and international, and includes providing guidance and technical assistance to junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own installation of new tools at customer sites independently, occasionally requiring guidance from managers.
- Follow procedures to ensure consistent results within specified cycle times, exercising judgment within defined practices.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex system-level problems during installations using standard procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
- Escalate issues when necessary, providing clear communication about previous actions and data.
- Complete administrative tasks such as field service reports, daily pass-downs on installation progress, and non-conformances.
- Contribute to post-activity Quality Feedback Reports.
- Obtain necessary international travel documents and manage personal logistics for extended travel.
- Assist junior engineers, provide on-site and phone support, and develop basic POAs (Plans of Action).
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in semiconductor or related field, or military service experience.
- Ability to travel 80-90% of the time, domestically and internationally.
Pay
Base pay range: $33.75 - $57.36 per hour. Actual pay depends on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
