Product Handler

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Packaging materials to minimize damage during shipping.
• Ensure accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Label orders with order number, weight, and dimensions.
• Knowledge of shipping practices and pricing.
• Efficiently move product between staging, storage areas, and freight containers.
• Maintain company equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
• Operate scan gun and update inventory counts.
• Supports maintaining a safe working environment and promotes safe work habits.
• Focuses on continuous learning to enhance skill sets and career growth.

Qualifications

• Computer skills desired for operating warehouse management system (WMS).
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience, preferred.
• Ability to meet warehouse deadlines.

Physical requirements

• Sitting, Standing, Walking.
• Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
• Use and operate warehouse scanners for inventory tracking and processing orders.
• Good eye-hand coordination and sense of balance.
• Exposure to varied temperatures within warehouse environment.
• Work inside and outside, work around machinery with moving parts and vehicles.
• Carrying, pushing, pulling boxes and items; up to 75 lbs., at times.
