About the Role

You are the face of the brand on the retail floor, delivering an unforgettable experience to our guests. Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best-in-class brand experience to guests by sharing technical product knowledge and supporting problem-solving.
  • Build a strong understanding of our products and seamlessly weave this information into guest interactions in an authentic way.
  • Champion Arc’teryx as a brand ambassador both in-store and in the community.
  • Develop your passions both in and out of the store with the support of the team.
  • Support elevating the guest experience by collaborating with the store leadership team on projects and brand initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on merchandising and in-store experience to help drive sales.
  • Maintain an open, collaborative relationship with your team and store leadership.
  • Support and participate in various store tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
  • Answer store phones, respond to voicemails and emails, and occasionally engage on Epicenter social media channels.
  • Utilize the Point-of-Sale system to accurately and efficiently process guest transactions, including warranties, Used Gear trade-ins, purchases, and returns.
  • Receive and unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh 5–30 lbs).

Expectations

  • All employees are expected to be available to work “Black Friday” (the day after US Thanksgiving) and from the second week of December until the end of the holiday season, defined annually based on guest return policies.
  • Fully accountable for executing all deliverables outlined in the Product Guide Role and Responsibilities document.
  • Perform additional projects, duties, and assignments as required or requested under the direction of Store Leads, Store Manager, and Assistant Manager.

Availability Requirements

  • Full-time: 30–40 hours per week (5 days per week).
  • Part-time: 10–30 hours per week (2–4 days per week).
  • Must be available for a minimum of one opening, one closing, and one weekend shift each week.
  • Availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change at the discretion of the Store Manager.

Pay

The pay range for this role is USD$19.20–USD$21.40 hourly. Most new team members join within this range, where they can contribute right away while continuing to grow. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and level of responsibility. The role is also eligible to participate in a bonus plan based on store performance.
