Product Engineer - Pittsburg South

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain technical data packages including drawings, manufacturing documentation, tooling, and test procedures
• Provide technical expertise by solving engineering and production issues to support the facility
• Able to interface with both Internal and External Customers
• Ensures product drawings are to the correct revision and uploaded into the ERP system
• Design tooling and fixtures to support the manufacturing process
• Work with Manufacturing to identify and resolve issues associated with manufacturing, assembly, and test of batteries

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of three years’ work experience in a related engineering preferred, but not required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor, or other CAD tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
• Geometric, Dimensioning, & Tolerance knowledge, including Tolerance Analysis preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter and schedule-driven.
