About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications
  • Support the testing and deployment of new GIS features and functionalities
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and/or C#
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or ArcPy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL)
  • Understanding of geospatial concepts and data models
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Skills

  • Strong understanding of web development principles
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is full-time and based in our headquarters in Redlands, California. Occasional travel may be required.
