About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications
- Support the testing and deployment of new GIS features and functionalities
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and/or C#
- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or ArcPy
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL)
- Understanding of geospatial concepts and data models
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Skills
- Strong understanding of web development principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The position is full-time and based in our headquarters in Redlands, California. Occasional travel may be required.
