About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced GIS technologies to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions that meet business needs.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Understanding of geospatial concepts and principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
