About the role
Aglide is seeking a full-stack engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of software experience, a product mindset, and a desire to work closely with customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the browser automation engine to handle more complex tasks.
- Work on the on-device browser environment to ensure reliability and security.
- Build and streamline the workflow builder for easy configuration of browser automations.
- Enhance platform controls and analytics for better customer visibility and management.
- Implement end-to-end encrypted infrastructure to protect sensitive customer data.
- Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, collaborating with customers to solve their problems.
- Invent new solutions to address unique challenges in the field of browser automation for mission-critical work.
- Focus on the end-user experience, particularly for desktop, extension, and web dashboard interfaces.
- Work long hours and weekends to ship solutions quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- 1+ years of software experience, preferably in building client software for real users.
- A product-minded approach, with a focus on customer experience and feature quality.
- A strong desire to work closely with customers, understanding their needs, and solving their problems.
- A strong desire for ownership and responsibility, with one engineer handling end-to-end projects from start to finish.
- Experience with TypeScript, Electron (macOS/Windows/Linux), and browser extensions.
- Hands-on experience with Puppeteer or Selenium, either in production or as side projects.
- Experience with security concepts, especially zero-trust and end-to-end encryption.
- Familiarity with identity and SSO tools like Okta, 1Password, Entra ID, JAMF, or similar tools used by IT and security teams.
Qualifications
- Strong visual design sense to bring good design into UIs.
Skills
- Experience with TypeScript, Electron (macOS/Windows/Linux), and browser extensions.
- Hands-on experience with Puppeteer or Selenium (in production or as side projects).
- Security experience, including building secure systems and comfort with zero-trust concepts and end-to-end encryption.
- Experience with identity and SSO tools like Okta, 1Password, Entra ID, JAMF, or similar tools used by IT and security teams.
