Product Engineer

About the role

The Planning Layer is a critical component for engineering teams that integrate coding agents into their workflows. Our platform aims to bridge the gap between the advanced capabilities of coding agents and the strategic oversight needed to ensure successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan that integrates coding agent workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and objectives.
• Ensure all team members are aligned on the project's scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent costly mistakes.
• Regularly review and update the project plan based on feedback and changing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development or project management.
• Experience working with coding agents and understanding their impact on project planning.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Understanding of software development processes and best practices.
