Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Create tool prints for production based on customer requirements and geometry.
- Design for production following Fullerton's manufacturing/tolerance standards (print, router, tolerance standards).
- Provide details needed on prints & routers to ensure it is clear what is required at each production step.
- Create wire frame prints to assist in the quoting phase.
- Create router packets for production to ensure the customer receives the correct and quality tooling.
- Provide accurate routing setup and run times to aid in production scheduling.
- Provide technical support to external and internal customers.
- Multi-task when working on various projects at the same time.
- (Engineering GUI, Customer prints, Quoting prints)
- Attend FAST academy once every 2 years (minimum).
Supporting Quality Assurance
- Travel to Customer sites as needed.
- Maintain 5S and a neat and clean work area.

Qualifications/Education/Skills
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Product Development/Applications.
- Knowledge of machining techniques and cutting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Problem solving, time management, professionalism.
- Cutting Tool knowledge.
- Mechanical blueprint reading experience.
- CAD experience. AutoCAD 2D along with Fusion 360 or equivalent experience developing models and drawings.
- GD&T Ability to learn new software as required.
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy.
Equipment Used
- Computer, CAD, MS Office.
Working Conditions
- Professional office environment (50% of the time).
- Required to interact with personnel on manufacturing floor (40%).
- This position operates within a manufacturing environment and has occasional exposure to loud noise, grinding oil/coolant, grinding dust, fumes and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
