Product Engineer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI-bio tools that ensure safe and ethical use in research environments.
• Collaborate with researchers, tool developers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and integrate them into our solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent misuse.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, bioinformatics, and cybersecurity to inform our product development.

Requirements

• A strong background in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying AI-bio tools.
• Experience with ethical considerations in AI and bioinformatics.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with databases and data management systems.
• Understanding of ethical guidelines and regulations in AI and bioinformatics.
