About the role
DISHER is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst for a 6-18 month contract-to-hire opportunity with our customer in Grand Rapids, MI.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement configuration management and data management processes aligned with company standards, business needs, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a key contributor to Teamcenter as the system of record for:
- Engineering documents and drawings
- Product structures and Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Configuration and revision control
- PLC Software
- Simulation and Emulation data
- Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering documentation including:
- Drawings
- Specifications
- Solution deliverables
- Change documentation
- Analyze proposed design or configuration changes to assess impact on:
- Product structures
- Downstream manufacturing and installation
- Customer-specific solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience in configuration management.
- Experience using Siemens Teamcenter and SAP VC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience administering or supporting Teamcenter PLM.
Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Product structures and BOMs
- Engineering drawings and standards
- Experience supporting product configuration and variant management.
- Ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-evolving digital engineering environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, automation approaches, and AI-enabled workflows.
