Responsibilities
- Design and develop pump components, assemblies, and related equipment using CATIA
- Review and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and product documentation
- Support new product development projects from concept through production release
- Create design solutions that improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness
- Perform engineering calculations, design analyses, and tolerance evaluations to support product development
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for product improvements
- Support engineering change management activities, including revisions, deviations, and obsolescence management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- OR Mechanical Design degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology degree, or related design discipline with 7+ years of relevant product design experience
- Experience designing industrial equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps or related rotating equipment
- Proficiency with CATIA for 3D modeling, assembly design, and engineering drawing development
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing practices
- Experience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Experience performing engineering calculations and technical evaluations supporting product development
- Experience providing engineering support to internal stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required
