Role Responsibilities
- Conduct research and find gaps in the market, wherein the product could fit
- Understand the consumer needs and analyse the psyche of the users
- Develop designs and prototypes using the product designer work tools
- Find the right materials and techniques that not only produce high-quality products, but at a lower cost
- Perform testing on product prototypes and further improve them based on the usability tests
- Collaborate with the rest of the team including the senior product designer to gain insights and a different perspective
- Learn, research, and stay on top of innovation and design trends on a global scale
- Bachelor's degree in product design, industrial design, or a related field
- Prior experience as a product designer or in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of principles of design with a proper understanding of colour theory
- Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other similar tools
- Ability to think outside the box, while working on tight deadlines
- Certification in product design
- Proficiency in user interface design and web technologies
- Keen understanding of graphic design and user experience principles
- Experience working in design and development
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
