About the role
We are seeking a talented Product Development Coordinator to join our Michael Kors Watches Product Development Team at Fossil Group. The role involves supporting the development and execution of watch collections throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to market launch.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Development team in managing products through all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, while maintaining cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Brand, Planning, Packaging, and Sourcing, to ensure alignment throughout the development process.
- Create and maintain go-to-market materials, including line sheets, sample requests, product attributes, and other product-related documentation.
- Utilize PLM and SAP systems to manage product information, maintain development milestones, and support new style creation and setup.
- Carefully coordinate sample management throughout the entire product development cycle, ensuring timely receipt, tracking, and distribution.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Fossil's Hong Kong office and manufacturing partners to ensure project accuracy, effective communication, and adherence to timelines.
- Aid in managing product costing and pricing with factory partners to support overall margin objectives.
- Support ongoing process improvements and maintain accurate product data throughout development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous internship or professional experience in product development, merchandising, sourcing, or a related function is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and seasonal timelines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLM and SAP systems is preferred.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to work with product data, costing information, and development timelines.
