Product Coordinator - Hybrid in Orange, CA

About the role
This position is hybrid in Orange, CA. The Product Coordinator is responsible for working alongside the Manager of Product to navigate product management, document collection for Service Area Expansion and Bid processes, coordination of traffic flow with an emphasis on Medicare Lines of Business, assisting with health plan expansion, market research, competitive analysis, and employer group business.
Responsibilities
- Research and obtain knowledge of both Medicare HMO and PPO regulations and competitors.
- Product research of key competitors for filings, bids, and selling periods as required.
- Assist with health plan Service Area Expansion filings through both State and Federal agencies.
- Collection of data elements for Service Area Expansion and Annual Bids.
- Maintain good working knowledge of competitor products in the markets and highlight opportunities for the company.
- Ensure the accuracy of a variety of member-facing media for specific Medicare Advantage plans.
- Maintain knowledge of state and national government programs, health insurance markets, the reform environment, and product trends.
- Work closely with the following departments: Compliance, Pharmacy, Finance, Healthcare Services, Quality, Marketing, Enrollment, Sales.
Requirements
- Experience working with department staff; ability to work well with staff and with minimal direction.
- Prior experience in the Medicare healthcare field.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two or more years of Medicare knowledge preferred.
- Ability to navigate multiple assignments and understand the ever-changing Medicare environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite, as well as the use of internet, web-based applications.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Pay
Pay Range: $58,531.00 - $87,797.00. Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, and experience.
