Product Controller Senior Associate - Frosch Travel

Job Responsibilities

  • Aid with the month-end close and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Generate, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and annual P&L results; conduct insightful variance analysis.
  • Create and maintain balance sheet substantiations and support reconciliations (e.g., accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany).
  • Prepare detailed analytical reports for business managers and senior finance leaders.
  • Collaborate across finance, operations, and technology to establish and enforce robust controls and support new business initiatives.
  • Coordinate with front- and back-office teams to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and promptly.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and special analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or Accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a controls-first mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, modeling).
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach.

  • Creates neat, easy-to-understand spreadsheets others can use and audit (substance over form).
  • Employs cross-checks and tie-outs to validate work; consistently self-reviews before submission.
  • Connects the dots across tasks and analyses to broader Frosch Travel operations and reporting.
  • Experience with data tools (e.g., PowerQuery, basic SQL, or visualization tools) is a plus.
