About the role

Entegris is currently seeking a technical Manager to join our New Product Development team. This position is an in-person onsite role based in our Burnet, TX facility. You will lead a team responsible for testing and validating new ALD and CVD products, including optimizing precursor delivery performance across various equipment configurations, assessing chemical compatibility with hardware components, and analyzing impurity transport profiles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers and scientists in creating first-of-a-kind Designs of Experiments (DoE), overseeing data collection and storage, reviewing and interpreting analytical datasets, and preparing high-quality internal and external presentations
  • Make technical recommendations based on results and submit IP as needed
  • Lead and coordinate team efforts with internal and external customers
  • Design and oversee operation of precursor delivery test equipment, including in-situ monitoring, sample collection, and characterization
  • Operate, design, and clean-in-place (CIP) materials compatibility test equipment, including sample collection, analysis, and characterization related to stability and compatibility of key component materials
  • Conduct post-service examinations of vessels used in various applications, collate data, identify trends, and recommend hardware design improvements

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with CVD/ALD precursor applications
  • Successful managerial experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of vapor pressure and solid delivery as they relate to semiconductor CVD/ALD equipment design and performance
  • Working knowledge of characterization techniques including IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, ICP/MS, gas chromatography, microscopy, and surface analysis
  • Knowledge of metal corrosion mechanisms is preferred
  • Demonstrated background in configuring, designing, and maintaining CVD/ALD precursor test equipment
  • Ability to translate advanced experimental learning into process and equipment improvements

Pay

The salary range for this position is $125,500–$157,000. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s overall skills and qualifications.
