About the role

This role is part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, standards-based responsive web applications for mission-critical health IT solutions.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, product analyst, leading requirements capture, management and analysis activities along all phases of the agile software development, and developing business process models
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare domain

Qualifications

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Project/Smartsheet
  • Experience with manual testing of software products
  • Knowledge of flow charts and UML using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools (a plus)
  • Expertise with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Trello, etc.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare, Medicare & Medicaid systems & data
  • Creative, visionary, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers, users, and other contractors to gather, understand, and document business, functional, technical, and non-technical requirements
  • Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, work group calls, and engage customers to provide requirements and feedback
  • Conduct user research and usability testing
  • Develop and sustain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Develop Change Requests per established policies and procedures
  • Develop user stories and requirement documents as per project standards and guidance
  • Follow agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and deliver requirements/specifications for Sprint teams
  • Provide clear qualitative and quantitative information to teams and stakeholders
  • Work with development and testing teams to implement requirements as per functional specifications
  • Support change control processes established to monitor and control project scope
  • Conduct Product Analysis sessions, work group calls, and engage customers to provide requirements and feedback
  • Follow agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and develop user stories with robust acceptance criteria
  • Work with sprint teams to implement, accept, and validate user stories as defined
  • Support change control processes established to monitor and control product vision
  • Communicate with management, peers, and customers effectively and professionally
