We are looking for a professional with strong analytical skills and experience in product analysis to help us implement our vision and strategy to enable the software products within the Trial Financial Management area to power the business for the next decade plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work across our area supporting programs which enable our business partners to operate without obstacles.
  • Build expertise on system validations and learn the end-to-end clinical process.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels to uncover and communicate user needs.
  • Plan, design, and conduct testing activities, engage support teams, and compile critical content for training and communication to users.
  • Apply a structured approach to discover, document, and manage business process and stakeholder needs.
  • Gather insight into user journey, behavior, motivation, unarticulated problems, unmet needs, and pain points.
  • Work side by side with Business Stakeholders, Product Users, Product Managers, and Technical Leads to ensure IT solutions are both valuable and viable.
  • Gather and document business/user needs, trace requests and responses.
  • Continuously broaden expertise in the Clinical Trials business domain.
  • Leverage business and user insights to form solutioning ideas and make prioritization decisions to maximize IT solution value.
  • Identify business value for initiatives and determine measurement methods to ensure solutions achieve targeted business value.
  • Be accountable for enablement, adoption, and growth of the Integrated Trial Monitoring product.
  • Build knowledge of existing solutions through IT communities and leverage these for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with squad members (e.g., scrum masters, technical leads, development team) to manage high-quality product delivery using Agile SDLC methodology.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog of well-formed epics, features, and user stories aligned with the overall roadmap.
  • Follow and apply Product Model principles to maximize business value.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (minimum requirement).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product/Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience working within a global team.
  • Open and receptive to listening, able to ask thoughtful questions.
  • Curious and persistent, able to discern pain points, simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and identify improvement recommendations.
  • Critical thinker who balances stakeholder and user needs, embracing new ideas/evidence to foster collaboration.
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Strong understanding of business issues and needs, with ease in rapport-building with peers and executives.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality on sensitive projects.
  • Adept at managing relationships across expertise, geography, and culture, regardless of hierarchy.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and coordinate activity among multiple groups.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts.

Qualifications

  • Desired Experience and Skills:
    • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Understanding of the Clinical Trials domain from a data collection and management perspective.
    • Knowledge of Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $71,900.00 - $113,200.00. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
