Product Analyst, Alternative Investments

Responsibilities

• Perform onboarding of alternative investment products for new sales and custody only – including the setup of the product in LPL’s systems such as security master, digital trading platform, commission platform, and advisor access to investor kits.
• Manage service electronic mailboxes. Respond to ad hoc requests.
• Update education module, forms and disclosures.
• Document end-to-end workflow between fund manager and LPL operations.
• Manage product pipeline and product closures of products actively offered for sale.
• Manage product requests and status for custody only.
• Manage digital platform product documents, data, due dates, and details.
• Record committee minutes.
• Track and Update progress on multiple ongoing projects.
• Conduct due diligence on products requested to transfer to LPL from other firms.
• Contribute to the evolution of the process.
• Analyze large product lists from new merger and acquisition initiatives and onboard those eligible products for custody only.
• Own the resolution of specific issues with advisors or fund companies.

Requirements

• 2+ years broker dealer, investment management, wealth management, or related financial services experience.
• Core Competencies: Ability to accept and understand feedback and apply to working style, Deep understanding of private alternative investment product operations and industry regulations, Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, Ability to learn new internal systems, Ability to provide, accept and apply feedback for improvement, Ability to work and communicate quickly and accurately.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience interacting with asset managers and advisors.
• Experience with investor service.
• Experience with due diligence.
• Experience with investment operations and the ability to advance projects and handle advisor escalations.
• Experience working with investment-oriented systems and analytical software including Excel and Tableau.
