About the role
The Alternative Investments Product Analyst works closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including fund sponsors, alternative fintech platforms, operations teams, and financial advisors, to support a broad range of alternative investment offerings.
Responsibilities
- Aid financial advisors in implementing alternative investments, such as private equity, private credit, hedge funds, exchange funds, and other specialized offerings within broader client portfolios.
- Support product education and provide insights to advisors, linking alternative investment strategies to client goals and market conditions.
- Enhance and develop educational resources to ensure advisors are equipped with up-to-date knowledge on offerings, platforms, and processes.
- Partner with operations, compliance, and internal teams to support smooth and efficient onboarding, subscription, and servicing processes.
- Respond to advisor inquiries related to alternative investments, including product capabilities, use cases, and operational workflows.
- Leverage technology to drive process efficiencies and improve team workflows.
- Apply portfolio management concepts to help advisors understand how alternative investments fit within broader financial plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience with investment solutions in the insurance/financial services industry and/or within financial institutions.
- Series 7 at time of application or within 90 days of start date.
Ideal Qualifications
- 1+ years experience with more complex investment solutions such as alternative investments (Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, etc.).
- Effective at building relationships across internal teams and with financial advisors.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced wealth management or broker-dealer environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Pay
Salary Range: $107,700 - $141,300
Schedule
Hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office and flexible remote Fridays, company-wide remote weeks, and a bank of flexible remote weeks to use throughout the year.
