Product Analyst – AI Tooling
Job Description
This role is positioned within the IT Product and Innovation team and supports the operational processes that enable AI at scale. The position is central to two core functions: managing the AI intake pipeline for new tools and platforms, and maintaining the inventory of AI productivity tools. This includes tracking features, usage, and spend for platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot. This role requires fluency in AI tools, structured thinking for process design, and the ability to work at the intersection of operations, product management, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the primary operator of the team's entry point for license requests, tool access, use case submissions, and other AI-related demand.
- Classify incoming requests, ensuring each is documented, tracked, and resolved or routed appropriately.
- Handle lower-complexity requests directly, such as directing users to existing resources or troubleshooting routine license provisioning.
- Routinely route requests requiring specialized input to the correct owners and prevent duplicative assignments.
- Capture and report on the AI intake pipeline volume and the team's workload.
- Aid in identifying patterns in request volume and types to inform enablement priorities and tool decisions.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of intake workflows, classification logic, and routing models.
- Maintain an inventory of Gen AI productivity tools, tracking available platforms, features, and capabilities.
- Support the cross-functional rollout of new features by gathering requirements and documenting considerations.
- Track and report on AI usage and spend, including building projections and maintaining consumption models.
Education
A bachelor's degree in business, operations, technology, or a related field is required. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
Experience
4+ years of relevant experience in operations, program coordination, vendor management, product operations, or a related field. Experience managing or coordinating vendor relationships or tool portfolios in a technology environment is necessary.
Technical Skills
Demonstrated fluency with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in a professional context. Experience building or maintaining dashboards, scorecards, or reporting systems is required.
- Technically literate with fluency in AI tools and agentic systems.
- Clear communicator able to handle a high volume of diverse requests.
- Structured, process-oriented thinker with the ability to design and operate intake workflows.
- Comfortable translating data into actionable intelligence.
- Proficient in navigating vendor relationships and contract dynamics.
- A self-starter with sound judgment and a bias toward action.
- Experience in the insurance, reinsurance, or MGA sector.
- Prior experience in product management or product operations.
