Product Acceptance Specialist

Position Responsibilities

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
• Provides objective evidence of results.
• Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
• Identifies and documents discrepancies.
• Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
• Caters to product review with customer during product or process verification.
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 1+ year of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of experience as Quality Inspector or in a related inspection role within a similar industry.
• Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently.
• Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results.
• Experience in a 787 Program.
• Experience in a team environment.
• Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
• Experience in conflict resolution.
