Main Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness, quality, and customer serviceDeliver knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledgeExecute corporate merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displaysMaintain full, fresh, clean, and visually appealing produce displays at all timesManage product rotation, remove damaged or unsellable items, and maintain freshness standardsOrder, receive, inspect, and store product following food safety and rotation guidelinesManage shrink through inventory controls, root‑cause identification, and waste‑reduction strategiesBuild and manage labor schedules aligned with business needsTrain, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environmentEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and company operational standards Soft Skills We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Strong customer‑service mindset with attention to freshness and detailEffective leadership, communication, and coaching skillsStrong organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to lead in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Competencies Produce merchandising and freshness executionInventory management, ordering, and shrink controlLabor planning, scheduling, and associate supervisionFood safety, sanitation, and compliance execution Knowledge Produce handling, rotation, and freshness standardsRetail merchandising and promotional executionStore systems and inventory tools Abilities Ability to review sales, shrink, and inventory data to drive resultsAbility to train and develop associatesAbility to lift, move, and stack product and work in coolers and refrigerated environmentsTravel requirements: NoneOther requirements: Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and the Code of Business Conduct We Also Provide a Variety Of Benefits Including Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
