About the Role

This position is responsible for wrapping and cutting product, ordering, cleaning, and stocking the produce department. The Produce Clerk ensures the department is clean and sanitized to Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet or exceed set standards for handling, stocking, wrapping, cutting, culling, ordering, and maintaining the produce department.
• Clean and sanitize the produce department, including coolers, cases, knives, tables, and floors.
• Ensure proper retails, billing, and costs.
• Monitor shrink and conduct monthly inventory counts.

Requirements

• Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly personality.
• Experience in wrapping and cutting produce, rotating product, and culling the department.
• Ability to arrive at work at assigned starting times and complete assigned shifts.
