Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities by managing availability, cleanliness, and freshness. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service are key to enhancing the shopping experience.
What You'll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Work in other areas as needed, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
- Prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards.
- Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools.
- Stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory management techniques.
- Eliminate waste and guide peers.
- Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the produce area.
- Model high-quality service and products.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
- Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
- Carry out tasks, communicate progress and information.
- Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.
- Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- A passion for and experience with produce.
- A strong focus on member satisfaction.
- Comfort with change and quick adaptation to different work scenarios.
- A curious and creative thinker.
- Effective communication skills.
- The ability to lead by example.

Pay and Schedule
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00* with additional compensation in the form of premiums. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
