Position Summary
Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities are met, enhancing the shopping experience for members.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with teams, provide customer service, and adapt to different work scenarios.
- Be an Expert: Understand and prepare produce according to established standards, adhere to safety guidelines, and follow relevant laws and regulations.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools for sales, improving the shopping experience, and engaging associates; use handheld technology for immediate decisions.
- Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage inventory, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service, and execute the basics at the highest level of quality.
- Comply with company policies and standards, implement action plans, and adapt to changes and feedback.
