Position Summary
Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring that members and their families enjoy fresh, affordable produce. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service contribute to enhancing the shopping experience.
What You'll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Work in other areas as needed, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
- Prepare products according to established standards and maintain product safety.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Drive the performance of the area by using digital tools and perpetual inventory management techniques.
- Eliminate waste and guide peers and provide attention to customer needs.
- Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
- Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
