About the Role
We are currently seeking team members to assist in our robust Produce Department. As a Produce Associate, you will be responsible for all produce stocking responsibilities, providing exemplary hospitality, and maintaining the highest quality of produce for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest and provide exceptional hospitality on the sales floor; assist guests with necessary research.
- Stock all produce items on the produce floor, ensuring beautiful displays.
- Cull and rotate produce to maintain the highest quality on the sales floor.
- Prep and bag produce for sale.
- Return damaged or poor-quality product to Receiving for credit and write clear credit notes.
- Dispose of culled product appropriately and brainstorm alternative uses (e.g., cut fruit or café).
- Ensure proper signage for all produce, verify accuracy of shelf tags, and communicate needs to the department manager.
- Adjust displays to maintain stock levels, highlighting faster-selling items when products are out of stock.
- Maintain knowledge of Produce department products, standards, procedures, and protocols.

Pay
This position has a pay range of $15.50 - $16.29 per hour, with previous experience considered.
Schedule
Open shifts, mid-shifts, and closing shifts available.
Location
222 Dorset St, South Burlington.
