About the role
As a Procurement Specialist at our Salt Lake City, UT location, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and evaluating suppliers. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all procurement activities align with company goals and objectives.Responsibilities
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental needs
- Monitor supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with procurement software and tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Qualifications
