Responsibilities
- Oversight of ordering, tracking, and distribution of all sedation-related medications, supplies, and equipment across Nuvia locations.
- Maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date sedation formulary, collaboration with the Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) and Provider Leadership for updates and standardization.
- Management of sedation inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment while avoiding excess or expired stock.
- Coordination with Regional Clinical Teams to confirm sedation supply needs and manage clinic-specific requirements.
- Processing purchase orders for approved sedation-related items, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintenance of accurate records of sedation orders, receipts, usage logs, and disposal documentation.
- Closely working with Finance to ensure proper authorization and budget adherence for sedation-related expenses.
- Conducting regular audits of sedation inventories to ensure compliance and accuracy across all clinical locations.
Requirements
- Understanding of DEA and state-level regulations regarding controlled substances and sedation medications.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in ordering, documentation, and compliance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, clinical teams, and internal departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance under pressure.
- Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and digital inventory management systems.
