Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversight of ordering, tracking, and distribution of all sedation-related medications, supplies, and equipment across Nuvia locations.
• Maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date sedation formulary, collaboration with the Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) and Provider Leadership for updates and standardization.
• Management of sedation inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment while avoiding excess or expired stock.
• Coordination with Regional Clinical Teams to confirm sedation supply needs and manage clinic-specific requirements.
• Processing purchase orders for approved sedation-related items, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Maintenance of accurate records of sedation orders, receipts, usage logs, and disposal documentation.
• Closely working with Finance to ensure proper authorization and budget adherence for sedation-related expenses.
• Conducting regular audits of sedation inventories to ensure compliance and accuracy across all clinical locations.

Requirements

• Understanding of DEA and state-level regulations regarding controlled substances and sedation medications.
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in ordering, documentation, and compliance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, clinical teams, and internal departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance under pressure.
• Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and digital inventory management systems.

Pay

$52,000 per year
