About the role

You will support the Supply Line Manager (SLM) team with procurement and inventory operations. You will conduct root cause analysis and recommends permanent fixes including updating training documentation. Position requires an individual to be motivated, self-starter with strong computer knowledge (all MS office applications). Multitask, prioritize responsibilities and work with different Levels of management and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the supply line management team with procurement and management of purchase requisitions, parts inventories and service.
  • Provide general support activities as needed for the supply line management team.
  • Aids the supply line management team with streamlining the reverse logistics spares supply chain to improve inventory health and Days of Inventory (DOI).
  • Performs data entry, expedite purchase orders and follow up on past due orders.
  • Issue part numbers for new parts, manage inventory part setup, and inventory parts set up and management.
  • Maintain and monitor various supply chain performance issues, including exceptions and variances, on hold items, inventory, purchase order fulfillment, expediting late parts and zero bin items.
  • Address settlement issues, goods receipt, invoice receipt, reconciliations (including TSM/SIMI recon).
  • Drive continuous improvement with suppliers and on-site warehouse to improve quality, data integrity and supply chain inventory health.
  • Additional opportunity to work on optimization of supplier logistics, delivery performance and system improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
  • (Preferred): Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business.
  • Must have a good command of English—Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills & willingness to learn and collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills required—Outlook, Advanced Excel (including VLOOKUP and IF functions), Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Also preferred—SAP/WIINGS/SIMI.
