Job Scope
The position reports to the Head of US Site Operations Department and requires close collaboration with production teams and cross-functional departments to address procurement needs and maintain vendor communication to manage risks and opportunities. The role involves managing compliance, audits, and providing necessary documentation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Procure Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and facility maintenance services.
- Manage general procurement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Focus on internal and external customer needs to address issues and collaborate on assigned projects.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, collaborating with relevant partners to optimize terms, costs, and deliverables, ensuring the quality of service/goods, and mitigating risks.
- Maintain relationships with key functional managers and their teams to understand their needs and facilitate appropriate challenges.
- Manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSA), annual contracts, and bids.
- Comply with global procure-to-pay standard operating procedures, policies, and file systems.
- Review supplier performance against contracted obligations, service levels, and business requirements.
- Manage material codes and configurations in ERP/SAP, S2P programs, and other systems.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of overall supply chain and procurement cycles.
- Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
- Strong project and change management capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively.
- Ability to work independently with continuous performance integrity in a continuous improvement environment.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems.
- Experience in working with multicultural teams.
