Position Overview ISG seeks a Procurement Specialist Contractor to work within a team and to be responsible for procurement and various procurement activities for our client base. The Procurement Specialist Contractor will be part of a center of excellence and will perform outsourced procurement work for various clients Responsibilities May be responsible for contract authoring, negotiations, workflow management, and other miscellaneous procurement tasksAnalyze technology agreements and client data in order to identify savings opportunities; make recommendations based on analysisMonitor, track and report on savings and incremental value of sourcing activities.Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments within the client organization to grasp business objectives, desired product/service specifications, and projected demand.Lead the supplier selection, risk assessment and contract negotiation process for key projects.Negotiate business terms on behalf of clients for software, hardware and service agreements ranging from $25k-hundreds of millionsReview, negotiate and initiate contracts directly with Service Providers on behalf of clientsProvide required reporting to client including but not limited to regular progress updates to direct manager, procurement senior leadership and to key internal partners.Perform contract research and address client queries around IT AgreementsProvide contract negotiation support in the form of executive summary, supplier negotiation, contract research, review and analysis, as necessaryAssist in the development of process improvement strategies to the contract lifecycle process Required Skillsets This is a Contractor/1099 role and is onsite at the client location in Indianapolis, INMinimum 10 years of previous experience in IT procurementExperience in industry procedures, costs, and termsProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteExperienced at compiling and following strict budgetsStrong analytic and negotiation skills.Business sense and ability to develop critical thinking.Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficientlyAbility to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.Experience in contracting to include but not be limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAsIntermediate understanding of Procurement standard processes, supply markets, suppliers and products, pricing models and contracts terms.Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment. Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
