Procurement Sourcing Analyst

About the role

The Procurement Sourcing Analyst acts as an internal consultant collaborating with assigned internal business units to source and recommend the best solution for materials, equipment, supplies, and/or services. The Analyst manages the Strategic Sourcing Process from Initiation to the final recommendation to the internal business unit decision maker. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business units to identify sourcing needs
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers and solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Manage the strategic sourcing process from initiation to recommendation
• Prepare and present recommendations to internal business unit decision makers
• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or sourcing experience
• Experience with strategic sourcing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
