Procurement Senior Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Senior Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead complex procurement activity for assigned programs, with a focus on managing material buys, supplier performance, and compliance across mission-critical work. The Senior Manager will partner closely with program teams and vendors to support timely delivery, qualify second sources, and maintain strong procurement controls. This position also involves setting expectations for the procurement team, driving consistency in execution, and supporting audit readiness in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex material procurements with extensive BOM line items and schedules
• Collaborate with suppliers to support on-time delivery and qualification of second sources
• Lead and manage the procurement function for assigned programs
• Set performance metrics and goals for procurement staff
• Conduct training on procurement policies and maintain audit compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18 years of experience; Master's degree with 15 years of experience and 8 years in managerial roles; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
• Active Top Secret clearance required
• Extensive knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
• Strong team orientation with the ability to work independently

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually
