Procurement Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement Sales Coordinator manages the procurement process, sourcing from suppliers while securing cost-effective and high-quality goods. They ensure that purchasing activities are profitable, well-organized, timely, and in compliance with company policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, managing vendor communications, and facilitating smooth procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for the procurement team, including vendor and customer correspondence, and document management.
• Aid in reviewing and processing purchase orders.
• Maintain organized and accurate procurement records, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
• Monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm shipping details and resolve delivery or invoice issues.
• Collaborate internally with the contract and pricing team to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to internal procurement procedures and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or procurement support role.
• Experience with procurement software is an asset.
