About the role
The Exchange is seeking a Category Manager I to support strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement initiatives focused on IT software, hardware, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support RFPs, sourcing projects, and supplier negotiations
- Manage contract execution and supplier relationships
- Conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and deliver business value
- Support category management and procurement best practices
Qualifications
- 5 years of procurement, sourcing, contracting, or government contracting experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience
- IT procurement (software, hardware, professional services)
- RFP development and execution
- Supplier negotiations and contract management
- Strategic sourcing and category management
