Procurement Manager

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing supply chain team. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional with strong negotiation skills and a passion for supplier management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned materials and services, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and operational efficiency. This position serves as a key link between suppliers and multiple manufacturing and technical locations. Key Responsibilities Partner with procurement and supply chain leadership to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support business objectives.Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve supply security, quality, and cost competitiveness.Monitor commodity markets, industry trends, and supply chain risks to proactively address potential disruptions and cost impacts.Work closely with operations, technical teams, commercial functions, and supply chain stakeholders to support organizational initiatives and financial goals.Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations.Track procurement metrics and supplier KPIs, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier scorecards, and contract documentation.Collaborate with planning and production teams to understand demand forecasts and secure adequate material supply.Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable business outcomes.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple facilities.Ensure effective communication and coordination of material requirements throughout the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.Minimum of 5 years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience within a manufacturing or production environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated success in improving supplier performance, cost management, quality, and delivery metrics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to establish and maintain productive supplier and stakeholder relationships.Experience using procurement, purchasing, or ERP software systems.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Capable of working independently while contributing to team objectives. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or similar ERP platforms.Professional certifications such as APICS, CPSM, CSCP, ISM, or equivalent.Experience within the chemical, coatings, manufacturing, or related industries.Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier development practices.
