The role
The Procurement Manager is responsible for establishing and managing procurement and supply chain activities across complex infrastructure or multidisciplinary programmes. The role ensures that procurement strategies, processes, and outcomes are aligned with programme delivery objectives, commercial requirements, and governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain management within infrastructure or major programmes.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract strategies, and supplier management.
- Experience managing complex procurement activities in regulated or public-sector environments.
- Able to manage supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of delivery risk and supply chain dynamics.
- Procurement strategy, supplier management, and contracting, with skills in market analysis, cost optimisation, and negotiation.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management capability.
- Strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline (desirable).
Pay
The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
