Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze the needs for equipment, spare parts, consumables and supplies required for the operation of the mining site.
• Identify critical needs and ensure their follow-up in order to guarantee the availability of the equipment and spare parts required for operations.
• Prepare procurement requests and ensure their follow-up in coordination with the Procurement & Supply Chain Department.
• Contribute to the preparation of consultations and tenders, particularly by consolidating the needs and technical specifications communicated by the operational teams.
• Ensure the follow-up of orders with suppliers in coordination with the Procurement & Supply Chain Department, particularly regarding delivery lead times, supplier commitments and warranties.
• Ensure the follow-up of supplies through to their receipt on site and ensure the conformity of deliveries.
• Coordinate the transportation, receipt and delivery of equipment and spare parts to the site.
• Ensure the follow-up of critical spare parts, stock levels and replenishment needs.
• Maintain procurement monitoring dashboards and raise alerts regarding risks of stock-outs, delays or non-compliance.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance, Production, Warehouse and Procurement teams to ensure business continuity at the site.

Skills

• Good knowledge of procurement and logistics processes, ideally in an industrial or mining environment.
• Good understanding of spare parts management and critical procurement.
• Ability to monitor orders, lead times, deliveries and supplier commitments.
• Knowledge of consultation and tendering processes.
• Good understanding of the logistics challenges related to the supply of a mining site.
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement monitoring tools.
• Organization, rigor, responsiveness and ability to manage priorities.
• Good coordination and communication skills with operational teams, suppliers and the Procurement & Supply Chain Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Licence in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Management or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics, ideally in a mining, industrial or technical environment.
• Experience in the management of spare parts, equipment or critical procurement is an asset.
