Blackwood Solutions | Bloomington, Indiana | Full-Time, Salary On-site, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM About The Role You’ll work in our Bloomington office and report to the Finance Manager, partnering with teams across the company. You’ll help carry purchasing from request to receipt and keep our inventory accurate, both Blackwood-owned and customer-owned. It’s more than placing orders. You’ll see how a purchase moves from request to approval, PO, delivery, and payment, and how inventory moves from receipt to count to customer report. You’ll also have a real chance to help make both run more smoothly. What You’ll Do Procurement Manage purchase requisitions and route them through the right approvalsIssue purchase orders accurately and on timeMake sure goods and services are received and recorded promptly in our systemWork with vendors and internal teams to resolve PO, receipt, and invoice mismatchesTrack purchasing metrics, like cycle times and spend under a PO, and suggest improvements Inventory Support receiving and put-away so inventory is recorded accurately and on timeCoordinate cycle counts and physical inventories, then investigate and document variancesHelp reconcile inventory to the general ledger each monthKeep customer-owned inventory tracked separately from Blackwood stockPrepare customer inventory reports What We’re Looking For 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or a similar roleStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong Excel skills and comfort learning new systems (Sage Intacct and Maximo experience is a plus)Curiosity about how AI can help automate routine work and improve accuracyExperience in an industrial, distribution, or warehouse setting is a plus What We Offer Competitive salaryFull benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)A steady Monday to Friday, 8 to 5 scheduleOn-site role in our Bloomington, Indiana officeA stable, growing company with room for a long-term careerA team that treats you like a person, not a number Ready to Join Us?
