About the role

We're hiring an Inventory & Procurement Specialist to own the parts, procurement, and inventory operations that keep our humanoid robot builds moving. In this hands-on, high-ownership role, you will keep bills of materials (BOMs) accurate across multiple concurrent revisions, run end-to-end procurement, and design and continuously improve the inventory system that supports monthly production targets. This role is ideal for someone highly organized and proactive who thrives by partnering with build, maintenance, and engineering teams in a fast-moving, prototype-to-production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own BOM accuracy for a complex robotic system across multiple concurrent product revisions, keeping parts lists current as designs evolve and maintaining traceability across part revisions and lot/order history.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement—ordering, tracking, receiving, and stockroom organization—with strong attention to detail.
  • Support monthly production targets while tracking parts across revisions and prototype builds.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve systems for inventory tracking.
  • Help manage vendor relationships across global supply partners and local shops.
  • Partner with build, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive improvements with a strong bias for action and high ownership.
  • Work alongside, teach, and collaborate with robots to enable yourself and others.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or materials/production coordination—ideally supporting complex electromechanical or hardware products (or a related degree plus relevant experience).
  • Hands-on experience owning BOMs and tracking parts across multiple product revisions and concurrent builds.
  • Strong procurement and vendor-management skills—ordering, expediting, receiving, and managing lead times across global and local suppliers.
  • Experience building or running practical inventory systems (ERP/MRP, digital tools, spreadsheets, or Kanban).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with clear communication, a bias for action, and high ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting robotics or other complex electromechanical hardware in a prototype-to-production environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation program, including salary, annual cash bonus, and company equity.
  • Company-subsidized insurance programs.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Daily lunch.
  • Other benefits.
