Procurement Field Representative

Position Responsibilities

• Maintains schedule compliance and product conformity for emergent offload/overload suppliers.
• Establishes and prioritizes deliveries to support supplier contractual corrective actions and issue resolution.
• Communicates across various functions to report status and address concerns.
• Identifies and trains supplier personnel on business and manufacturing practices to improve delivery performance.
• Participates in on-site supplier assessments and supports work movement as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with aircraft production or maintenance.
• 1+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Team Leadership experience (formal/informal).
• Airplane interior and airplane systems knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain managing suppliers/vendors.
• 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.
• 1+ years of experience in Project Planning; Scheduling; Project Management.
• Knowledge of Boeing production system.
• Able to access and interpret Boeing airplane drawings, procedures, and processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Summary

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in San Antonio, Texas. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
