Procurement Buyer - (Hybrid - Grand Prairie, TX)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Buyer to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will manage purchase orders from supplier sourcing and bid evaluation through pricing/delivery negotiation, SAP updates, and supplier commitment tracking to support production schedules.

This is a 3-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4-day 10-hour shifts per week), and this is a hybrid role in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Supports PAC-3 procurement execution by developing and administering purchase orders for specialized materials, equipment, and services
• Prepares bid packages, solicits and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates pricing and delivery terms, and awards purchase orders within established authority
• Prioritizes schedule and best value in support of the PAC-3 ramp
• Coordinates closely with SEMAC, GSC, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and suppliers
• Resolves procurement roadblocks affecting production
• Processes PO changes, maintaining accurate SAP data
• Tracks supplier commitments and supports delivery recovery actions

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• 2 years experience in working in Procurement and/or Overseeing clients/customers/suppliers
• 2+ years professional experience using Microsoft Office, SAP
• Communication, written & verbal
• Procurement/Commercial, business acumen and analytical skills
• Bachelor's Degree from Accredited university

Pay

$45 - $50.63/hr
