Procurement Assistant with USSOCOM experience (active secret clearance needed)

About the role

ICS is interested in an entry level professional with Human Resource Generalist background as well as experience in Acquisition Career tracks.

Responsibilities

• Routine administrative and end user support including answering telephones, producing formal written correspondence, disseminating information to broad and targeted audiences, navigating websites, using email, and coordinating travel arrangements for federal travelers.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Serves as liaison between multiple parties, stakeholders, and organizations.
• Plans and accomplishes goals with minimal supervision.
• Interfaces effectively with personnel at various levels of seniority.
• Captures and maintains information through verbal and electronic channels.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for a minimum of 3 years; requires a background check.
• Reviews procurement request packages, executes purchase orders, manages procurement files, orders supplies and equipment, manages databases, and creates presentations using Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with IAA's (Inter/Intra-Agency Agreements) is a plus!

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship for a minimum of 3 years.
• Background check required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interface with personnel at various levels of seniority.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and Outlook.
• Experience with IAA's (Inter/Intra-Agency Agreements) is a plus.
