Procurement Analyst II
About the role
The Procurement Analyst II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing strategic and tactical procurement activities, specifically purchasing critical components and commodities for production across multiple value streams and manufacturing sites. This position is part of the Consumables Procurement Department located in Chaska, Minnesota and is an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Follow material procurement and supplier management policies & procedures through SOP work instructions for supply chain.
- Work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, QC, Technical Operations, and Shipping/Receiving functions to track and report status and define priorities to meet production schedules.
- Manage escalation communications, part shortages, and expedites when necessary; work closely with Corporate Strategic Sourcing group to determine long-term corrective/preventative projects.
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Working Capital turns, Purchase Price Variance, and related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/objectives by leveraging Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, facilitation skills, and change management.
- Drive towards process improvements leverage data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of experience in Procurement or a closely related field, or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain.
- Experience working in a high-volume work environment using interpersonal leadership skills.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems: Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud working knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI with the ability to learn new programs that are job specific.
- Previous experience with lean manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to effectively operate in a regulated environment (FDA, GMED, NCIS etc.).
Skills
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPM Certification.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $74K-$90K annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
Schedule
This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home.
